Living In Fear Gets One Nowhere

This baby bird
Just couldn't fly.
In fact it never
Gave it a try.
But then one day,
While in a sapling,
The limb gave way-
His wings went a'flapping.

He looked all around,
And saw that the ground,
Was quite far away,
He yelled out, "Hooray!"

"To think all this time
I've wasted in fear.
When push came to shove
The truth was quite clear."
