As we journey down our road,
Time catches up, turns us old.
As our journey nears it's end,
And we round the final bend,
When God dampens out the light-
Sweet dreams, sleep tight, and goodnight.

The Transplant Trading

It's a well accepted fact
That a human has but one,
Of the central beating muscles.
Because there's room for only one.

So, I've made some room inside me,
By removing of my own.
And holding out in front of me,
I will trade you it for your own.

I'll cherish and protect it
As the diamond rare and fine-
If willing to give me your heart,
Inversely your welcome to mine.

The Impediment Poem: Praxias, Stutters, amd Lisps

T-t-talking with a stutter
Causes words to s-s-suffer.
T-too many ph-phrases
Many problems it r-raises.

If I say, "I would like two-two,"
Or, "Yes, surely I will do-do,"
Meanings of the words ch-change,
And everyone thinks I am strange.

So before I go f-further,
I'll be silent, not a murmur.
